I recently visited a bar that really impressed me with its food and atmosphere. The vibe was laid-back, making it a great spot to unwind with friends. I tried their signature mutton sekwa, which was juicy and packed with flavor, and the momos were tasty. The drink selection was also solid, with a variety of craft beers and creative cocktails. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to grab a bite and enjoy some drinks. I’ll definitely be going back!

Damn Good Flavors from the North East Tucked away like a hidden gem in the urban jungle, this North East Indian restaurant isn’t just serving food — it’s serving a whole cultural experience on a plate. From the moment you walk in, the warm, bamboo-accented decor and soft folk music transport you straight to the lush hills of Nagaland, the misty valleys of Meghalaya, or the serene trails of Sikkim. And the food? Absolutely damn good. Start with the smoked pork — tender, rich, with that deep, earthy flavor only slow firewood-smoking can achieve. Pair it with a side of fermented bamboo shoot chutney, and you’ll wonder why this isn’t in every foodie’s regular rotation. The thali is a must-try: perfectly balanced, showcasing regional stars like axone, lai saag, roselle, and black rice pudding that finishes with a slightly nutty, soulful aftertaste. You can tell the kitchen doesn’t just cook — they respect the ingredients. It’s not just a meal, it’s a story told in spices, smoke, and soul. If you haven’t tasted the North East Indian food yet, this spot will blow your mind and expand your palate. It’s authentic, bold, and unapologetically rootedDamn good food. Damn good people. Damn right I’m going back. The only thing is lacking is .....here is service They should be little attentive towards customers & bit be little faster service....! Rest all on point.

This is a restaurant everyone should know about. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. I have enjoyed all of the different foods I've tried. My favorite is definitely the wings. Every plate has beautiful presentation, including to-go orders. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable but the staff has dining etiquette and class that creates a memorable experience.

Bara Restaurant in Euless, TX, delivered an unforgettable taste of Newari cuisine that instantly took me and my friends back to Nepal. We were a group of 6 and went there Sunday evening. We indulged in a variety of flavorful dishes, including the Pork Sekuwa Sticks, Wai Wai & Chatpate Sadheko with Buff Meat, Buff Chilli, Aloo Chop, and the Taas Khaja set. Each dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavors that transported us to the vibrant streets of Kathmandu. The combination of spices, tender meats, and unique textures made for a truly enjoyable meal. My friends were in town for a high school reunion who travelled from Connecticut and Houston. All of them really praised highly of Bara Restaurant. The service was outstanding, especially from our server, who was fabulous. She recommended the Imli Bomb cocktail, which was tequila-based and was delicious, so much so that we ordered more. The non-alcoholic version, made with an orange juice base, was also a hit with our group. Both drinks were refreshing and packed that Imli Pau flavor, adding to the overall experience. The Titaura Drink was okay as it wasn't what we expected. However, for the exceptional service, great food, and amazing cocktails, we can vouch that Bara Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Nepali/Newari food.

I had an amazing meal here late at night. Ordered chicken curry and sausage with deserts. I had it spicy, but they offer it however you prefer. Our waitress Dee was amazing. The prices are very affordable. I loved the inside atmosphere, music, everything. They make you feel very welcome. Its a great experience. We live 2 hours away and will come again.

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. I was greeted with genuine smiles and promptly seated in a comfortable spot. The servers were not only polite and professional, but also warm and attentive in a way that felt personal rather than scripted. They took the time to explain menu items and offered thoughtful recommendations based on my preferences. I never once had to look around for help — water was refilled without asking, empty dishes were cleared promptly, and they checked in just the right number of times without being overbearing. What truly made the service special was the team’s genuine hospitality. They treated every guest with care, and it was clear that making people feel comfortable and happy was a top priority. It’s rare to find service that feels both seamless and heartfelt, and Bara delivered that perfectly. Special thanks to subu, shraddha and laxmi.
